Morgan Rechtein

Hey all...I was listening to KZZN this morning and heard about Morgan Rechtein getting hurt during the game. The report said he has finally regained some feeling back but still has no movement. If anyone knows how I can get ahold of Coach Rechtein, please let me know. My prayers are with the whole Rechtein family and also with the rest of the Rolla players, coaches, teachers and such. - Tonya

Just read in the Rolla Daily News...Morgan is doing better. They had to remove his C5 vertabra and fuse 2 others together. He still has no movement in his legs, but does have feeling. He also has feeling in his arms and some movement just no strength. I saw all the places that are doing fundraisers to help the family. I commend the community for rallying around the Rechtein family like they have. Morgan still has a long road of recovery ahead of him, but God is in control and hopefully someone will be blessed through this. Yes, true this was a terrible tragedy, but God always has a plan. If anyone knows how I can get a hold of Rick and Kim please let me know. Have a great day - Tonya

For anyone who doesn't know, Morgan is Rick Rechtein's youngest son. He was injured Friday night during the football game. He fractured his C-5 vertebra and is in the hospital in St. Louis. There is an article at www.davesports.com about him.
Thanks for the update, Tonya. I've been wondering how is was doing since Friday. Will continue to pray for a full recovery for him. ---Kim
